New-Vehicle Protection

Start the vehicle’s life protected

A new vehicle is the easiest one to protect properly — the paint has had the least exposure, the least contamination and the fewest opportunities to be washed badly. It is also rarely as flawless as owners expect on collection day.
New Does Not Mean Flawless

What we usually find on a delivery-fresh vehicle

Between the production line and your driveway, a new vehicle is transported, stored, unwrapped, washed and prepared — often several times. Each step leaves something behind.
  • Transport contamination

Rail dust, industrial fallout and airborne contamination picked up between the factory, the ship and the dealership.

  • Dealership wash marks

Pre-delivery washing is fast, not careful. Fine swirls and marring from wash media are extremely common on delivery.

  • Adhesive residue

Transport film, badge tape and protective wrap frequently leave glue residue along edges, sills and door shuts.

  • Water spotting

Vehicles washed and left to dry in the sun on the delivery lot can carry mineral spotting before you ever collect them.

  • Minor paint defects

Light sanding marks, dust nibs or minor factory imperfections that were never addressed during pre-delivery.

The Service

Inspect, prepare, refine, protect

The same discipline applied to older paint, adapted to a vehicle that mostly needs correcting of other people's handling rather than years of wear.
  1. 01

    Inspect

We assess the paint under inspection lighting and document what the vehicle actually arrived with — before touching it.

  2. 02

    Prepare

Safe wash, chemical decontamination and adhesive removal, followed by mechanical decontamination where required.

  3. 03

    Refine

Machine enhancement or targeted correction of dealership-installed defects, only where it will make a visible difference.

  4. 04

    Protect

A suitable protective treatment applied to clean, prepared paint — plus glass, wheels and interior where selected.

New does not always mean flawless. Transport film residue, wash marks and water spotting are common on delivery.

Ceramic protection can be applied as part of this service and is quoted after inspection. See ceramic protection for what it does and does not do, or all services and pricing for the full list.

All prices are starting prices and may vary according to vehicle size, condition and service requirements. A final quotation will be provided after reviewing the vehicle or receiving suitable photographs.

Timing

Book it before you collect, if you can

The ideal arrangement is to book protection around your delivery date, so the vehicle comes to us early rather than after a few months of washing and coastal exposure.

That said, there is no deadline. A vehicle that is six months old is still a strong candidate — it may simply need a little more refinement before protection is applied.

New-Vehicle FAQs

Questions about protecting a new car

What owners most often ask before booking protection on a new vehicle.
Does a new car need paint correction?

Sometimes. New vehicles frequently arrive with transport contamination, adhesive residue, water spotting and wash marks from dealership preparation. We inspect the paint under proper lighting and only recommend machine work where it will make a visible difference.

Next Step

Protect it before the first bad wash

Tell us your delivery date and vehicle details, and we will schedule an assessment so protection can be applied while the paint is at its best.
